Hi, I'm looking for a holster style bag to carry the above when climbing in high mountains.

Its got to be super snug with just enough space for the above set up with no extra space.

I'd be willing to remove any padding etc in order to fit the camera.

I will carry extra batteries and lens cloth in my jacket pockets.

Thanks in advance

Following!

Out of interest, are your X-T2 mountain shots mainly with the 23mm?

In reply to galpinos:

No, I've got the 18-55, samyang 12mm and the 55-230.

If I'm walking/skiiing i will use the 18-55, but for winter climbing or summer alps i will take the 23mm lens as its sealed and if i need a wider view i will stitch a few frames but through trial and error i've noticed i need to get closer to my subject.

I've had mixed success with the 23mm lens

Cheers, I've got the 14mm F2.8, 35mm F2 and the 18-55 but none seem quite right for on route photography!

yes its a tough call trying to select a single lens.

If weight wasn't an issue I'd choose a couple of zooms; the 18-55 is reasonably sharp for close subjects and a large zoom to compress big vistas, but when I'm on technical ground I like to keep gear as light as poss, hence the 23mm.

I need stronger legs

And arms!

Too right! It's not so much weight as bulk. I looked at the 18mm F2 as well as it's pretty small/pancake-esque. Decided to save my pennies for the mo but do need a decent bag for it.

this is great bag for the 18-55 or slightly longer lens; i use it the majority of time.

Its lightweight and cheap and I've just noticed you can buy it for a fiver on eBay inc postage.

no waterproof cover but dry bag can sort that.

I'm looking for a slightly smaller bag when using the smaller lens to reduce overall size

I rate the 15-45 lens for climbing!

really wish fuji did a slightly wider light weigh zoom though
