Rock Climbing Instructor

(Casual on an as and when basis)

Hours rate of £8.22 (The hours will be mainly evenings and weekends)

Arethusa Climbing Centre is looking for climbing instructors to work at their climbing wall in Upnor Kent.

The centre runs adult beginners clubs, birthday parties, junior climbing clubs and technique workshops. The centres climbing facilities consists of:

An Outdoor Rope Wall,
• 10 metre tower
• Chimney feature
• 10 roped climbing lines
• Flakes and cracks
• Wheelchair abseil ramp
Boulder Room
• 5 metre bouldering wall
• Slabs, overhang and large arch
• “Mouse House” Vertical wall small holds
• 45 degree overhang Campus board
And Lead Climbing Room
• 10 metre high
• 8.5 metre arch linking the two walls
• Various features and interesting "nose"
Previous experience working in a commercial climbing environment is an advantage. Holding your CWA or SPA is essential.
