Thought it was interesting to see that in a few high use areas they give these out for free. It seems to work pretty well as I didn't spot any wild jobbies. Relevant for the UK at some of the popular bothies where a composting toilet isn't possible?

Bit of a small target if that piece of paper is only A4!

If it's the US it's even worse, it'll be Letter which is a bit smaller.

Personally I'd never dream of going below A2...

Accuracy when  aiming at a target depends on :-

a)  The size of the target
b)  The score for bulls eye and the other rings.c)  Distance from the target
d)  Whether  you are in the prone, kneeling, laid down or stood when aiming for the target.
d)  The size (diameter),  and power of projectile you intend using.
e)  Any other factors such as cross winds, interference from bystanders and so on.

Good luck and please do tell us your 1st score

I almost cracked that joke as well but had second thoughts given that the freedom of immigrants to make jokes about the president seems to be under serious threat here these days.

Cairngorm Mountain tried this for a while in the late 2000s - the Cairngorm Poo Project, I think they called it. At one point, you could collect poo bags from the ski centre, and then later on they came with a reusable plastic pot, presumably to stop the bag from exploding in your rucksack. There was a chute to deposit used bags into, also at the ski centre.

I don't know when this project stopped running, but I can't find any references to it after around 2009.

It's really common across the Pacific Northwest. I've only been in Washington / British Columbia a few weeks and I've seen them at every major trailhead. Every ranger station also offers them for free. They're called wag bags. I think it's a great idea

Its still running in winter.  Certainly I picked up some poo tubes etc from the ranger station before going snow holing

Great idea. Could see that working incredibly well in the UK.

People poo on the target, wrap it up, then pop it in the poo bag before hanging it on the nearest tree for someone else to deal with.

We sell similar ‘Go Anywhere’ bags at work…

Last year we had a web order for one and the customer had paid for the premium guaranteed by 12 next day service…

I hope it arrived in time!

If they gave out bags over here, based on the idiocy in high volume tourists areas, some BLEEPs would take to hanging the bags from trees by the path.

If you twist round to try to see the target, you're gonna miss the paper completely!

By the time I'd finished, I'd have got a bullseye.

Anyway, I remember as a young rover in the seventies, having a shit in the sea in St Kitts. It was a floater. I did wonder if it washed up on a beach in Cornwall
