If you are think of heading to Llanberis Pass this weekend be aware the Snowdon Marathon is on.
"This weekend will see more than a thousand runners expected to compete in the annual Snowdonia marathon.
The 26.20 mile (42.2 km) road race circumnavigates the Snowdon massif, following the A4086 and climbing to the top of the Llanberis Pass (Pen y Pass 1,100ft) before finishing back at Llanberis.
Due to the route, Llanberis Pass will be closed from 10 am until around midday and will then become a rolling closure following the last runner.
There is also diversion in place in Waunfawr while the Llanberis High Street will be closed from the Capel Coch road to the bypass for the duration of the race."

It's also worth noting that Clocaenog forest, including Llyn Alwen and Brenig, is effectively closed this weekend due to the rally, including most of the CROW areas.
