Anybody been watching the speed climbing on Eurosport??

Having to watch it with the volume off.....would it cost anything to get somebody knowledgeable to commentate? maybe its just me! 

It’s pretty disappointing isn’t it.

I just heard them say that someone was crimping with their feet.

and they keep talking about a 25 degree gradient, and how all the climbers are upside down  

can someone, just tell them the word “overhang”

When one of the blokes said they arent climbing trees here.....volume off! but god its not climbing is it? thats showing my age

I'm enjoying the Italian commentary.  (I don't speak Italian.)

My favourite comment has to be:

"Think he caught the auto belay volunteer out a little bit"

So many questions xD

I’ve just seen that epic TV are doing done commentary that you can watch/listen too on YouTube.

Aye its not just you im a bit annoyed, no apparent knowledge "it's harder than monkey bars". But  canny find it anywhere else so hey ho.

For those not watching it there, here's a sample selection from Eurosport's commentary on the mens' bouldering qualifiers:

"Don't get me wrong, he's got durability"

"Most people would complain about having their hands wedged in a 4cm gap, but here they're actively looking for it"

"Well if anything was a game of inches, this truly is, isn't it?"

"This man doesn't know anything other than what he's looking at here"

(this commentary hits a bit too close to home)

"Every time he fails at this section, he has to go all the way down and start again from the bottom"

I've just bought the discovery+ packagefor £7 for the month and it's pretty good tbh.

I've skipped my way through the 6hours of todays qualifying.

Tomorrow I'll stick Matt Groom and Teresa Corti on Epic youtube channel for the commentary though.
