Hello everyone,
Southampton Uni Mountaineering Club are having our freshers meet this weekend (15th and 16th) in the Peak District. The crags we're planning on going too are Burbage North and Stanage Popular. Our freshers are going to be paired with our more experienced members and will be climbing in small groups of 4, spread out along the crag. We are not planning on setting up any top ropes. All our freshers will be equipped with climbing shoes and they'll be an emphasis from the current members on showing good crag etiquette (no litter, no dirty shoes on the routes etc.). We apologise for any inconvenience we cause you and we'll do our best to keep this to a minimum. Please feel free to suggest any other ways we can improve how we run our meets too.
We hope to see some of you at the weekend (although the weather looks questionable)!
This is totally unacceptable. Youve chosen sensible venues, have a good a good plan, aren't using top-ropes and have shown good etiquette. Youve left nothing for us rant at! UKC demands something to complain about.

At least one of them voted for Brexit; hope that helps!
