Ive been looking in the FRCC Lake District Climbs and Notes guide from 2018 and noticed a small crag listed, Stool End Crag, in Langdale. I cant find any other info or topo on it and just wondered if anyone had climbed there?

Some info here (on the last page): https://www.frcc.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Langdale-New-Routes-Updat...

...or is that what you've already seen?

Yeah, thats what I already have. Just looking to see if there is a topo or any info as to whether its worth it. Might have a look up there on Saturday weather permitting.

This might be it: https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/872369

If I had to guess, the lack of stars from the first ascentionists and its absence from the UKC logbooks, would suggest its not very good. There are plenty of good crags with easy routes in Langdale.

Ive done a lot of the easier crags in Langdale which is why Im looking at something a bit different. I like an out of the way 'esoteric' crag.

Birk Knott Crag near Blea Tarn is worth a look and fits the esoteric category - https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crags/birk_knott_crag-23067/#overview
