Moving up North to where the Bouldering and the Gritstone is tops!
A friend mentioned that a good base would be Royston Vasey. Does anyone know of a flat to rent? Also looking for a job, how easy would it be to find work that would fit in with regular climbing?
It's better to just change the inner tube and leave the patches and glue stuff until you get home. Frankly, it's a bit dumb cycling anywhere near Royston Vasey. The locals there view the local roads as for local people only and have seeded them with tacks to catch out strangers. You'll never leave without a puncture.
I think I'm Ok, a Barbara has replied saying she has a room spare as she is out most of the time driving a taxi. She says she likes climbers and can't wait for me to show her 'a sit down start'!
Thanks for the offer of a room, but is it ok to bring my harness, rope, and a few friends? The other landlady seemed quite excited, especially when I mentioned mat and grigri. She said she liked foreign men!
