I've been using their venitex gloves for years and they are great for skiing (too warm for walking and too bulky for climbing for me, though they have a thinner version with long cuffs that may be good,) but were too big for lots of people, they have now released their own version that goes down to small sizes and may appeal to some on here (no interest in the company, just think the gloves are really good and they are listening to customers.) Would recommend a nikwax once a year, but, in my opinion, much better than fabric gloves.

Yeah they have XS and they're £11.99.
I used them for skiing and climbing last season, with no problems. As you say, nikwax is a good idea...
