does anyone know what the current conditions are like in the glen coe area at the moment?

snow was very powdery - not a lot of consolidated snow around and turf not as frozen as I'd expected.

I'm sure certain mixed routes will be fine

Anything steep should be good, but don't expect much ice as there's been no thaw. We did a route on the N Face of Aonach Dubh last Thursday and the approach and the route were great

went to see for myself. loads of wet powder around. suppose the steeper lines may be ok (the turf is still unfrozen though!) the main problem is getting to them!
