My partner and I have the first week off in August and we are planning on heading to the south west coast, Cornwall or Devon, for the week camping, taking along my non-climbing 14 year old daughter and her non-climbing friend.
I am looking for personal recommendations of campsites (holiday camps) which have the following requirements:
Not far from the beach with a safe walk, indoor/outdoor pool, tent pitches with electric hookups and some site entertainment aimed at teenagers, also not too far from climbing locations, so we do not have to travel too far from the campsite.
I have been looking on ukcampsites and So far, I have found a couple of sites near Woolacombe, also near Bude as well. But looking for personal recommendations that would enable us to combine a climbing and family holiday which keeps everyone moderately happy.
