In reply to UKC Articles: Great stuff guys. How do you reuse it once it's made though? I haven't tried but it looks like it would be quite tricky to get off, and then back on again, intact...

Do you entirely lack an imagination?

Cut through the wrist loop and pull the glove off.

Reuse it by re-taping the loop and mending any holes in the glove: Voila!

It's easier to reuse if you double the length of the initial strips up the back of the hand running each around the base of each finger, so that when you peel it off you have 4 finger loops + the thumb loop. These hold it on again when you reuse so you only have to re-tape around the wrist. Looks like this http://www.chockstone.org/TechTips/Glove8l.jpg

If you're planning to tape up it might be worth having a small pair of scissors in your bag (the medical ones designed for cutting off dressings would be ideal). Once you've cut through the inside of the wrist its pretty easy to peel the rest of the glove off intact.

You could use a sharp knife, but if you've just had your arse kicked by some horrendous offwidth and you're knackered and shaky, well, y'know.. ;O)

I haven't tried the method Tom's demonstrating in the film, I'll have to give it a go. I've tried it this way a few times (more or less): http://www.chockstone.org/TechTips/Glove.htm and it's been a bit of a revelation being able to try jamming problems without (much) pain. ;O)
