Does anyone know if the crest will still be in winter conditions after the thaw thislast weekend?

The best info I can give you is that the snow-line in the north west (today-9th mar) has receded significantly (since last week when stuff in Torridon was mostly in nick from about 700 upwards) but is still well below the munro tops. Afraid I can't be more helpful then that.

Still substantial ammount of snow high up in NW. Still big cornices and full gullies. South and west aspects have been stripped more and thaw has been way above summits. Regardless, An Teallach still looked very wintry from Assynt.

Was on the Ridge on Monday, great neve most of the way along, although two days of sun may have changed that now...
