Vicarage cliff Culm coast

Does anyone know if there is currently a rope, knotted or otherwise, in place for the descent to the beach near the Tidna stream? And is it about 50 metres of descent here?

Yes. Old climbing rope and some fishermen's tat when I was last there. Probably slightly more than 50m of steepish terrain, but all pretty straightforward.

Hi Chris. It was there a few months back. A whacking great thick blue hawserlaid jobby that I found hard to grip. Next time I'm taking an ab rope as it'll be safer, particularly as the ground is very muddy and falling away towards the bottom.
