Okay so PodSacs were bought up by Planet-X a few years back. They started selling off the Pod kit really cheaply online; I was under the impression they were clearing the warehouse out in preparation for a redesign of the whole range. Fair enough, understandable.

Roll on to now and the pages at PidSacs are pretty much all showing 'no products available'. Is a new range happening or is PodSacs a brand that is consigned to history?

Sadly, I believe it's consigned to history.

History Im afraid. Stephen Reid gave a fairly comprehensive post on their decline

I wonder if these guys would mind if you asked them to make a copy of a Pod rucksack?

Funny, I was thinking about POD sacs the other day as well.

Pretty sad that incompetence has f*cked a brilliant brand. Think Rab are a bit to blame as well tbh.

I hope POD got enough cash out of it to soften the annoyance.

Cheers for the link. Missed it first time 'round. I did a search on here but didn't find that thread.

Shame, Pod was good kit. Wonder if it will ever be reborn in the style of Karrimor?

I'd say Equip did a good turn by selling POD on when it decided to stick with only one rucksack brand. Just wish PlanetX had bothered to do something with it.

Glad I picked up a couple of Alpine 40s when I could.
