The book is excellent, recommend getting it. A unique mix of humour, adventure and some fairly dark thoughts but, above all, honesty.
Brilliant, Nick's use of language is just brilliant. Full of understatement in the best tradition, no pathos, no moralising about ethics; just wildly funny and alive.
It took me a while to get over the 'sending' of whichever winter new route/pitch it was. Possibly the funniest two pages of writing I've ever read in a non-fiction book.
