If anyone finds a red 1/2 rope at the base of Lauson (WI-3) at Cogne, it's mine. We were climbing there on Christmas day and had left it at the base. Rather uncharitably, the right side of the top pitch collapsed, flew over me (mainly) and the rope vanished. I wasn't going to spend time digging round the bottom with the threat of the other half of the top pitch collapsing too. 

If you come across it and it is worth saving, let me know and I will arrange recompense for the trouble of getting it back to me. Mind you, I think it is a fairly slim chance that anyone from UKC will find it, and it is also still in reasonable nick...
