I was a bit disappointed though, they clearly don't allow Whippets in.

All Northerners are expected to temporarily hand in their whippets whenever entering the capital.

Ahh that explains it. I didn't know about that rule. Shame, I'll have give the capital a miss then, my 6 whippets don't leave my side.

There is an exemption for a chariot pulled by a team of whippets, sounds like you might be covered if you have the right set of wheels.
