NEWS: Alan Cassidy Climbs F8c

[Alan Cassidy on El Delfin F7c+ at Rodellar, 3 kb]Scottish climber Alan Cassidy has ticked the F8c Pata Negra in Rodellar, Spain.

This is Alan's first F8c and, as far as we know, makes him the third Scot to climb at this level.

He warmed down after the route by onsighting a F8a and a F7c+.

Tom is not Scottish, however, he does like deep fried mars bars and bankie chicks!!! Has also had a few Glesgae ginger monsters in his time!!!!

Alan also warmed down on a 7b+ and another 2x7c+s, beast!!!!!! However, hangover spanking on a 7c!!!! Hangover after only a couple of little halves!!!

Nice one Alan! I remember your first 7c on-sight all those years ago! I can remember sitting in the bar with you that night gambling for coffee beans and you made your beans into the shape of '8c', great to hear that you've now realised that ambition. Top man.
