A new film in which Dave talks about the process of training for and working the problem has been released by Dark Sky Media. Dave claims he is climbing harder at the age of 37 than he was 10 or 20 years ago - but what has allowed for this improvement?
I am exactly the same age as Dave and it is a good motivation to see him crushing such a hard problem. I will never get to that level but it is a kick up the ass to try harder and try and push my grade!
One thing I wonder though is if Dave didn't expect to do the problem why was the media team/person there? It's quite a bit of kit needed to make a good quality professional video like this and a major trip out there too.
