Norwegian climber Mari Salvesen recently became only the second person to flash the infamously burly Belly Full of Bad Berries (5.13b), a 24m overhanging offwidth crack in Indian Creek, first climbed by Brad Jackson.
Great effort and a great video too
What an effort!
I believe Adam Ondra failed to onsight the route.
Big difference between onsight and flash. As well as holds and technique being pointed out to her whilst climbing, she may have studied videos.
Still a mightily impressive achievement.
If he failed to onsight it he also failed to flash it, he just chose not to find out the beta. Is it better to attempt an onsight and fail or attempt a flash and succeed? Sometimes I grapple with this
