Really good read and can relate a lot to the way Rachel talks about her approach to climbing. Inspiring to see the steady progression through the grades that has come from a love of getting out!

Amazing! Not to mention the fact this has had hardly any ascents in 30 years despite this being one of the best known routes in the area says something about it…

I think that Nico Favresse clip might have something to do with it!

I won't feel quite so bad now when seemingly pretty much every time I Iook at UKC comments for routes in Wales I want to do, hoping for some cheeky beta, I think bloody hell, not another one Rachel Pearce has done it and makes it sound easy!

And a nice guy too! jethros got some skills with the lens… He did come down just as rach was getting in to the crux to ‘give her some space’ but I thought there was a chance he was going to miss the mega whip photo!

Was expecting a witty comment from you bilbo! I meant to add the memory of doing precious and then having a beer with these guys we met down at the boulders who weren’t climbers, and then you dropping buy and having to leave because you got covid !!

What a great interview.

What stands out for me is the massive connection they obviously have with climbing, the area they live in and other local climbers. As well as Rachel being a total legend of course.

Inspiring attitude and inspiring achievements.
