I want a finger board with jugs but would like it to be wooden for aesthetics in living space
I have not seen any.
Some have claimed to have jugs but they don't look very substantial /exist..?
I think the general rule of thumb is if the jugs on the Beastmaker are too small, you probably shoudnt be training on a fingerboard. Something like a pullup bar, or the metolius creations that you can get your entire hand over the top of would probably be more tendon friendly.
I've got a beastmaker 1000, the jugs are on the top at the outside edges and are really easy to hang off. I don't think they are harder than a pullup bar due to the friction.
I've just put up a Beastmaker 1000 and I find pull-ups on the jugs are easier than a pull up bar, though I still use both. The jugs on the Metolius board are bigger I believe (local wall has one) and overall the board looks nicer in my opinion but I got the Beastmaker because I tried both and liked it better.
