Metolius Climbing and Dave Barrans have teamed up with some of the best bouldering walls in the country to bring you the Metolius Mini Circuit Series: an informal series for those who want a low stress competition format.

Check out the promo video here:

Visiting a new wall each month, the series kicks off at Rockover, Manchester in December and includes The Depot in Leeds, Eden Rock in Carlisle, The Depot in Nottingham, Climbing Works in Sheffield and Arch at Biscuit Factory in London.

British Bouldering Champion and top route-setter Dave Barrans will set a 10- problem circuit. This circuit will stay up for 2 weeks, during which time anyone can try them out. Score-sheets to mark your attempts are free.

The scoring system is designed to encourage progress over the 2 weeks, with 3 points up for grabs for completing a problem irrespective of the number of attempts. However, don't worry if your score is low- all score-sheets will be entered into a raffle and can win some Metolius goodies!

If after the 2 weeks you are having trouble with any of the problems, or you simply want some quality advice, then come along to our free coaching sessions with Dave. Simply sign up for the session that best suits your ability level, and turn up on the night!

At the end of the series, we will collect together all entries. There will be prizes for highest scores in each category plus random winders will be drawn for over £250 worth of Metolius Bouldering gear.

Round 1: Rockover, Manchester, 07/12/12 – 21/12/12
Round 2: Depot, Leeds, 11/01/13 – 25/01/13
