Yes. It won't be long before the road sides are littered with a new design of energy drink can. 

But without actually that much sugar in, so they don't even serve the basic function of an energy drink. It's a bunch of 'polish' level supplements below the effective doses tested in the literature, plus caffeine. So yes, shit. Eat a banana and have a coffee instead.

As for the first question, it's usually marketers after snorting some 'artisanal natural supplements' straight out of Colombia.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have to be taken seriously, subliminal conditioning will do nicely ☹️

I listened to a podcast recently which said there is little to no evidence of the effect of subliminal advertising.
