220m, 8 pitches.

Rockfax Description
II, 230m. A tough challenge which feels pretty adventurous for a sport climb! Immaculate rock.
1) 6a, 25m. Drift leftwards up the enjoyable wall.
2) 6b, 35m. The difficulties are packed into the first 10m - the rest is easier on steep and positive holds.
3) 6b+, 35m. A stunning pitch with a few tricky moves on the crest of the pillar.
4) 6c, 10m. Make an exposed traverse left under the roof and exit at the far end. Fantastic!
5) 6b, 40m. A technical and long pitch to a hanging stance.
6) 6b+, 25m. A magnificent, difficult and steep pitch that starts by passing an overhang on its right on bright orange rock 5m above the belay. Good holds.
7) 6b, 35m. Steep, featured and enjoyable climbing leads to an easy-to-miss belay on the right at the end of the pitch. Beautiful compact rock.
8) 6a, 25m. A short, relatively straightforward pitch to finish. © Rockfax

Fun route, soft at 6c. Not really that 'adventurous' for a sport climb, it's a well bolted line with a short downhill walk.

Really fun route, leads you to some great positions! Led the last block, including second crux. Pretty safe, low stress day out.

Another masterpiece of a route on the Brevent. Tough sections with cruisy bits in between. Lead all pitches except 1 & 8.

Thought we were on Poème à Lou but couldn't find the fixed rope!

7 pitches. Awesome route. First route of trip nd thought I was on Poeme a Lou until after the traverse.

Paul Collins 08/Aug/15 AltLd

This one suprised both of us, its really good! Great rock (some pretty funky holds!) and some great pitches, not that hard either, the crux pitches are probably more like 6b than 6c

Led 1,3 5. Fell off 5 as got quite pumped. Seconded and still made a mess of the 6c roof. All in all a superb day out: amazing rock, sustained, lots of it.

John Carney 28/Sep/13 AltLd O/S

We found this rather easier than Poeme a Lou which in itself was not particularly hard given the 6c grades attached to the topos...nevertheless, this was another good voyage up to the ski lift on generally sound rock. No real crux on any pitch, and plenty of nice run-outs on easy, juggy stuff. Nice mini layback coda to the final small headwall. I would give this route a 6b/5c obl rating.

led 3 pitches including second 6c overhang. 6c traverse pitch a bit intimidating if you're not used to that much exposure!Felt a bit soft for the grade.

Ewan Russell 16/Jul/12 AltLd O/S

alright sport climb better than poeme a lou. Lead Traverse under roof pitch which i found awkward but generous for 6c. James lead other 6c pitch which is just one move and quite easy for us children of the climbing wall generation.

Wils 16/Jul/12 AltLd O/S
Ben Briggs 02/Jul/11 AltLd O/S

Led the two 6c pitches which are probably soft for the grade. Great climbing from bottom to top.
