18m. Right of Elephant's Back is a large earthy gully. Right again is a hanging slab above a cave entrance. Climb a short, wide crack to the cave; then make a tricky move above the cave to gain the slab. Sustained climbing up the slab on small holds, moving slightly right then back left, leads to better holds at its apex. Move directly up to a tiny overhanging nose, and finish up the small slab above. Somewhat eliminate: resist the temptation to use the good crack in the slab (on Comes the Seth) which is almost within reach on the right.

Lina led the HVS just to the right so I went up this to check out gear/moves. Won't be back for the lead any time soon - v thin.

Yes E2, yes 5c. Just about independent, but goes very close to TBL. I suppose you'd have to say it's escapable.

First lead ascent. I thought this would be E1 5c, but the protection isn't as good, or as easy to place, as I had hoped. Actually very committing.
