Fell off the first crux a fair few times (blaming a lack of warm up, but it is also pretty tough!)but got it ground up. Then flashed on second (with the addition of a power scream) the top pitch.

followed the first pitch clean, just couldn't pull hard enough on the crimps on the final headwall.

Nick Russell 03/Jun/15 Lead rpt

Really pleased with how this went today. The P1 crux felt easier than last time and the P2 crux even felt steady. I must have done some sport climbing or something...

Lead the first pitch which was my first tech 6a lead of the year although the second pitch was definitely harder!

P1 clean, felt ok going through the crux section. The flake on P2 has some excellent climbing. Had a few good goes at the P2 crux, took a few good falls, abbed off the 'thread' (which looked suspiciously like a cemented nut).

P1 Done previously. Did P2. Such a good route!

P1. Excellent!

Both of us tried the crux at the top to no avail. Fingers of steel required to hold the crimps out rightwards!

failed on p2 crux

Led p1. Excellent route with a superbly positioned crux on p2 and some ace moves.

Mike Goldthorp 16/Oct/12 AltLd O/S

Magnificent exposure on top pitch, step out above the void and crimp your heart out, having a bolt right by you definitely helps make it a nice consistent E4 with 2 really good 6a pitches

Lead p2. Good 1 to tick off after a big fall right at the end couple of years ago. Still thin but felt solid on it and nowhere near as runout as I remembered! Annoyingly Jake found a direct easier version but going out right on the crimp rail is def the way ahead for some cool moves in a good position.

led 1st pitch. Felt really soft, unless you take Ross' right hand variation

P1 second dog, couldn't get the move past the bolt even after hanging on the rope. P2 led onsight. 6'3" - make of that what you will!

Wicked moves, very good climb! Done in one pitch on a 50metre rope so not enough to reach the belay, had to downclimb the HVS to ab off the bolt at the crux.

keep a red BD stopper in a quickdraw ready for the move below the cave. I replaced the lost arrow piton on abseil 2 weeks later, as the one in-situ came off when I clipped it. sorry.

2nd'd P1 clean. Uncovered a few more wires to protect the moves up to the obvious wire slot then went a bit right from the top of the flake on pitch 2. Eventually slumped on the top bolt. Couldn't even find holds aiding on it! Seemed that you do a big move out left up the groove over the lip from a good hold near the bolt but this felt nails for 6a.

Lead first pitch clean (after top rope practice previous week). Seconded top pitch to crux; multiple attempts at crux and then escaped up Angels Eye
