A review of the previous access agreement with Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust (GWT) has now taken place and the climbable area has been extended,
This extension is only possible due to climbers following the agreed access since 2018 and demonstrating that we are a responsible user group. Needless to say maintaining this extended access depends on future adherence to the below climber's code of conduct too:
Rockfax Description
An unusual escapade that initially utilises the tree (trunk thread) before stepping onto the rock proper and climbing up a corner to the top and a lower-off on the right. Without using the tree the grade is 6b+. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Start on the tree, placing a good thread through a hole in the branch. Stand on the branch you just threaded and step across onto the rock and the first bolt out left. Follow the dirty corner until you step right to the rings near the top.
Great fun.
