Rockfax Description
The appealing corner on the right-hand side of the wall provides the best of the sub-extreme routes at Brean Down. Start at a left-slanting flake crack that leads up to the mid-height break below the corner. Approach the mid-height break via the slanting flake crack. The steep corner above is sustained but has plenty of gear and sometimes a few plants. Stake belays and additional belays in the rock outcrops further up the slope. © Rockfax

βeta: I climbed this at the end of July, the two stakes at the top are both really wobbly and not very deep set - it’s likely safer to go to the rocks at the top but your partner won’t be able to hear you. We walked off as we didn’t feel comfortable abseiling on the stakes. | βeta? | |
