USER ATTENTION

3 March 2023 update: Peregrines and other seabirds are either prospecting or nesting on this crag.

A temporary ban has been put in place by the National Trust covering the area of cliff between Tubby Head and Bawden Cliff, so includes all of the major route locations up to and including the America Buttress. Once the exact locations of any nests have been identified, restrictions may be lifted.

Rockfax Description
A good introduction to this section of the cliff that takes on the open corner on the left flank of C Buttress. Start at the left end of the sea-level belay ledges below the leaning pink wall.
Move left to below the corner line. Good climbing up this ends at a big ledge from where a short wall on the right is climbed to easier ground that runs up to the summit of the buttress. © Rockfax

βeta: Line is wrong in South West Climbs. You do not need to do all that traversing, it’s up the chimney just to the left of the big leaning pink face and faces away from the shore.
