Rockfax Description
The main line of weakness above the central ledge roughly follows the abseil descent line. The pitch is regularly climbed but the loss of pegs means that this is now a fairly serious undertaking. Begin at a clean ledge in the middle of the central ledge (this where the abseil descent meets the ledge). Move up to a position just right of an overhang (cam and site of missing peg). Pull up past a small bush and head up leftwards to level with a shattered overhang and bush. Now climb up rightwards past a peg to reach the long upper corner line that is climbed past a short difficult section to the Great Ledge. © Rockfax
