UKC Logbook - Laycock's List - the original 1913 gritstone graded list

Probably the world's first ever graded list, from Laycock's ground breaking 1913 guidebook "Some Gritstone Climbs". To quote from the guide:
"The following climbs are severe and should be treated with caution. They are roughly arranged in order of difficulty, the most difficult last. Numerous other severe climbs are described in the text, but as the difficulties are either short and generally safe or merely variation routes they need no special note of warning."

One for true Gritstone aficionados.
[Notes: Ribbed Chimney at Brassington Rocks has now been incorporated into International Climb as its 2nd pitch.
Cave Crack and Nose at Laddow is now referred to as Cave Crack Indirect.
Pagoda Climb on Kinder Plateau is now referred to as Herford's Route.
