The SMC's Scottish Winter Climbs West book lists three "Classics" and three "Connoisseur's Choice" at each grade form I to VII. The "Connoisseur's Choice" routes are great routes but less well-known, less commonly-climbed and generally off the beaten track compared to the Classics
