Interesting news article, gets me wondering: When was the first UK female F8a ascent made? How many UK women have climbed F8a and how many women worldwide?

I'm pretty certain it was reported as such at the time. If anyone didn't get the initials: Rachel Farmer on Raindogs. Rachel was sadly killed in an accident a few years later which is why newer climbers won't have heard of her.
