Gecko assis for Robinson

© Alex Kahn

The conditions aren't exactly crisp right now at Fontainebleau. More like low clouds, damp and zero degrees. An excellent day for doing easier stuff like... Gecko assis, 8B+. Maybe not for you or me, but for Paul Robinson.

Having got close on a previous session, this proved to be the day.

As soon as the good weather returns, we can expect some ridiculously hard ascents from the young American, mark my words.

No photo yet, but here's one of Paul doing Satan i heleve.

A pretty amazing spree of hard climbing far from ideal conditions. Will be good to see how he gets on with the Island span wise... I imagine it won't be too much trouble!
