Some of the routes which were put up in the 80s are not climbed due to their boldness, the main protagonists at the time were on the dole and skimped on the bolts. Some of the routes would be really popular with a couple more bolts in them, personally I feel it would be justified in doing so....

It's a brilliant climb as it is - extra bolts would spoil the experience - just need a steady head.

Totally agreed auld al, I was referring to routes which don't get climbed anymore. Massambula is a super little route just don't fall off the top bit !!!
