Agree with all three points above. This is a wonderful, strikingly different shot of a route which shockingly I've still never done. The composition is almost 'Rock Climbers in Action in Snowdonia' - but 60 years later. ("I had this dream, see. I was falling upwards in a shaft of light.") You sense the effort, the few moments of respite, the inevitable, 'Am I gonna do it?' I so hope she did.

It's a photo i've had for a while a rediscovered again. It's quite low on the route not too high above the belayer, i was stood at the bottom of Cenotaph Corner and could look down to her. She'd just back from Ceuse, so absolutely walked up it, then Foil, and then Right Wall, an amazing day :)
