In the winter of 2024 a crevasse opened on the Mer De Glace allowing easy access inside. Normally it was full of guides showing their clients, but this day, with high winds and no lifts open, we took the train to Montenvers, walked down to the glacier and skied up to the crevasse. This photo of Liv Sansoz climbing the wall of the crevasse was the result.
