Climbing is a rapidly growing sport enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities and is currently on the shortlist for inclusion in the 2020 Olympics. With Bristol's ever expanding climbing community, we felt that it was time to introduce a new climbing centre into the mix!

Our Centre

Redpoint is a brand new and vibrant Indoor Climbing Wall based in the South of Bristol. With around 300 routes, 2 Bouldering Rooms, an Abseil Station, our infamous Stalactite and even a molten lava crack, it has plenty for all those wanting to come and have a go at the sport. It also has a viewing platform for those who prefer to relax and watch.

Our staff are highly trained and passionate about climbing and keen to share their enthusiasm with people of all ages and abilities.

Our Building

Originally an art deco cinema, the building has been completely renovated to install our state of the art climbing wall, built by Walltopia. Our roof is now covered in solar panels and we have a wood pellet boiler providing heating and hot water, making Redpoint a very green place to climb! The building's exterior has just been completely revamped by our friends at Upfest, who came and covered it in amazing art work by “Endoftheline”, “DalEast”, “Masai” and "Jody" (pictured with Tom Gape).

National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS)

We are currently in the process of applying for the permit to deliver this scheme.

Facilities

Bristol Rocks Café is a fully licensed café bar where both climbers and locals can come to relax and socialise. We will be offering drinks from “Bristol Beer Factory”. Strong links with local companies are important to us and we will be serving food from award winning “Tom's Pies” and “Burger Theory” as well as other yummies to satisfy hunger and thirst after a hard climb! We will also be able to cater for groups and parties.
There are easy transport links to our centre, and bike and car parking on site. Parson St. train station is across the road, and buses stop right outside. We have changing facilities, showers and disabled access.

When are we opening

We are now in the final stages of finishing the build and training our staff, and will be opening in the next few weeks. Check out our website launched this week for our opening date and information on booking groups or lessons. www.redpointbristol.co.uk
