It's that day of the year again, so, what are you wearing?

I have on my SLF Inflammable Material T-shirt, slightly faded now but still a top T. This afternoon I'll change into my Joy Division Unknown Pleasures classic.

Somewhere, I have a red Television t-shirt, bought on the Adventure tour at the Manchester Apollo, not been worn for years.

Best I could do at the moment would be a Bon Jovi tour t-shirt, which my sister got me - all my other ones got binned years ago.

In reply to Tony the Blade: rocking a lesser known "fandangle" number at the moment.

Iron Maiden Final Frontier tour t-shirt from when they played Sonisphere in 2010. So not that old. I do have a Bjork 'Army of Me' t-shirt that I bought at the Reading Festival back in 1995 but it's bright blue and has a picture of a polar bear on it! It still fits though

You can't do that - that's what I'm wearing so it will be really embarrassing if we're wearing the same t-shirt. Regrettably not my original one from 85 - that got made into a duster years ago. As did a classic Family Cat shirt - emblazoned with the logo "all other bands are dog s**t".

My wife is wearing her Elastica t-shirt (she always looks good it that) and it looks like she'll be getting one of the Pete McKee t-shirts - she sent in a pic of her in front of one of his prints (we have a few).

Saw Television in Manchester last Sunday, brilliant. Only Marquee Moion t-shirts on sale though.

As it happens, I'm wearing a fairly new Imperial Wax Solvent T-shirt, courtesy The Fall (some gig in the NW circa 2007 I should imagine). But no-one can see it, cos I'm working at home. Take that, society!

In reply to John H Bull:

Sorry John - crap link... It is TODAY!

I wear an old band T-shirt every day, sadly not working at the moment though.

It is a shame that I can't share my Dumpy's Rusty Nuts "Bumflashers" shirt with admiring co-workers...

In reply to Tony the Blade: I have a Marshall Mode Four t-shirt on today which, whilst it isnt a band t-shirt exactly, it is still music related.

When I go home I may change into one of several Thunder t-shirts I have acquired over the years.
 MikeSP 22 Nov 2013
In reply to BenedictIEP: No band T for me sadly, so I had to make do with a 2001 Reading Festival one.
Benedict- I haven't heard Fandango for years, I used to go to school with one of the guitarists.

Yes, think I've seen them getting on for 20 times. My favourite being when I took my son who was 16 at the time, it was at the Astoria iirc and he just couldn't believe all these fat forty something blokes scrapping and bouncing around in the pit! Happy days!

My fave live album, yeah a toss up between Hanx! and See You Up There.

Fave album is (today at least) still Inflammable Maerial... such energy and passion.

Argh! Missed it!
Never had the cash to buy tshirts much, but did aquire a few..the oldest certain survivor is Motorhead Iron Fist, fairly certain I saw Another Perfect Day t'other day. and that's probably because I bought 'em big.

Missing in action (most likely after severe abdominal attack and or a mosh or 2).....Ruts classic traingle, Dead Kennedy's DK, I did have a nice 'Pope' Killing Joke at one time, but it was so badly screen printed it was like wearing a gimp suit.

I bought a 2nd hand Joy Div..that's cheating, tho', innit?
