Okay, not in North Wales, but how about an unique (as far as Wales is concerned) climbing venue; a tidal island, only accessible by canoe/ boat for 3 hours or so on either side of HW and with a wealth of good lower grade climbs on excellent hard sandstone:
Ynys Lochtyn
Access by canoe is interesting along a rocky coastline with numerous sea caves and bays, from either Cwm Tydu to the north or from Llangrannog to the south (which is closer to the island). In summer months, be prepared to share sea space with seals, a resident dolphin population and occasional harbour porpoises.
