I hear he said it felt about F6a.

In reply to Stu Tyrrell:
It all depends on how old you are when you start .. I've also been climbing since the 70's (1971) but am still only 61 (just). I think you will find Graham is quite a bit less than 69/70 yrs old, but he posts on here so I'm sure he will put you right if he wants to. Lets just say one of the younger members of the FRCC ...

In reply to Ray Sharples:

Yes same here only I am older than you and Graham seems to always been out there apart from my early years climbing.

We thought he looked really good, that is what sparked and argument.

Don't worry Graham if you see this, age does not matter as long as you are doing what you love!

It's series 8 episode 8 : Chapeltown to Doncaster, shown on 11th Jan 17 so it's on iplayer

From Chapeltown, Michael heads to Wharncliffe Crags, where he plucks up courage to follow in the terrifying footholds of the Victorian daredevil who made rock climbing a sport.

Graham will be distraught. I'm guessing late 50s.

In reply to Stu Tyrrell:

I concur, used to work with him and late 50's is correct.... poor guy. Still climbs way harder than I ever will.

Nice little segment in the programme, always good to see some true grit on TV.
