Dave MacLeod climbing Conquistador Direct 8B/+ in Chrironico, 4 kbScottish climber Dave MacLeod is currently in Switzerland bouldering and has kicked off his trip with an ascent of Conquistador Direct 8B/+ in Chironico.

"It's really made me realise how lucky we are in Scotland with frequent good conditions thanks to the almost permanent wind!"

Generally when I think about Scottish climbing, my first thought is about how lucky we are with the weather and conditions, yes.

Weird comment.

I presume "extremely boring" means not screaming "SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEND IT DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" at every opportunity.

Dave always struck me as one of the more thoughtful and interesting charecters in our small world.

You couldn't be further from the truth. Having climbed with him a few times and met him numerous times back in his 'Dumby days', I can tell you that he's a really decent, interesting guy.

Perhaps you'd be so good as to put your own identity to your blank profile so we know who to criticise next time round.
