In November 2019, 12-year-old Eli Pritchard took his dad, Paul Pritchard, on a father-and-son trip to the Khumbu region of the Nepal Himalaya. Paul was left hemiplegic following an accident on the Totem Pole off the coast of Tasmania in 1998. In the film of their trip, Paul and Eli demonstrate their special father-son bond. Eli turned 13 on top of Gokyo Ri (5357 metres) and was able to celebrate alongside Paul with a summit birthday cake.
