Scary pic. We were out on the planks on sunday too. Did you see the debris from the full depth avalanche on the NW flank of Allermuir, around Todhole Knowe? Big patch of grass, probably visible from the by-pass.
Lol, we came off Black Hill down to the forest and I suggested going to the Flotterstone and getting a taxi. It didn't work. We came back in the dark instead, stunning pink light on the back of Allermuir.
