NEWS: Griffith and Sim - Fast Ascent - Cassin Ridge

Will Sim on the descent down the Seattle Ramp, (Montage Edit), 2 kbBritish climbers Jon Griffith and Will Sim have made a very fast ascent of the Cassin Ridge on Denali, Alaska. The pair did not go to the summit of Denali, but did beat the time of the existing 'speed record' for the Cassin Ridge itself.

"Heading into the base of one of the world's biggest faces and onto one of America's most famous climbs was a little daunting with just a day pack to say the least but we managed to top out in 14 hours and 40 minutes..."

One of the Swedes mentioned also got the first ski descent of the south face just before.
