Hi

A lot of threads on here regarding the weather conditions at the moment in the lakes but cant sem to find any for this wekeend.

Any advice on heading up to Helvellyn this weekend? Conditions etc at the moment? Looking to do some gullies.

Met office has given out for rising temps but you just never know.

There would be much more chance on Saturday morning, Sundays looking too warm imo.

Been fairly mild again in the Lakes today.
There's some pretty big cracks appearing in the cornices along the top of Helvellyn, some have already collapsed, others are waiting to, beware!

no chance mate, just been up Browncove loads of snow but it's not frozen and temps are even warmer on Sunday even tomorrow there won't be any chance imo.

Decided its a no go on the gullies but a nice walk will be done over striding edge I think or up sharps edge maybe
