Rockfax Description
Moon Walk's tough twin. The thin bulging crack gives a fierce battle but with solid wires to protect. At the top of the crack, move right to the much easier slabby groove. © Rockfax

Misha 7 Oct, 2018 Lead dnf Had a play on Eszter’s gear (two green cams and a gold offset - placing all that lot would be hard enough in itself!). Totally nails! Beta in case I ever go back to it... Match hands on ‘mini jug’ crimp up left. L heel hook. L then R foot on a knobble far L helps at some point. Keeping RF on the knobble, LH up to the bottom side pull on vertical flake. RF onto a smeary knobble under the rooflet to enable crucial knee hook (!) - LH back side of the knee sort of hooks a sticking out hold. This enables RH to higher side up on vertical flake. Keep the knee on and get LF onto a small knobble on the lip of the rooflet in a layback position, then RF outside edge on flattie. Stand up off the layback into an in balance position and get RH high in the crack. That’s as far as I got. Need to place gear really - awkward and no doubt pumpy on lead. Then looks like need to layback the crack for a couple of moves but now facing R. Brilliant climbing but hard!

Longsufferingropeholder 15 Sep, 2018 Lead G/U One hard pull with exquisite gear by your chin, then feels just about droppable enough to stay interesting all the way. Suits me well.
