Rockfax Description
A good hard pitch crossing M1. Follow Roadrunner until you are a couple of metres across its traverse. Then make some desperate moves (8a for the short?) on undercut monos direct up the wall to reach the traverse of M1, passing 4 bolts. Continue more easily, directly through the roofs to below unstable ground. Lower off from here - a 60m rope is needed to reach the ground. © Rockfax

Fierce! Went up it once years ago but lowered off bemused. First redders this time. Its really vert, so feels desp on the dog but not that hard to link together. Amazing crux move frogging on smears whilst yarding on a undercut mono!

Brian's suggestion for an evening session. Every move felt desperate initially but we managed to unlock the sequence bit by bit. My high point was getting the downward pointing mono by the fourth bolt but couldn't clip the bolt and ran out of time for another go. The climbing seemed to get easier a few moves after that, so it might go with more work...

You might be wondering how I climbed this before the FA. Well I only climbed the top part above M1 and was called Freeway and graded E6 6b. Later on Simon added the lower and harder start superseding this route.
